Mam Tor Sunrise

So over 12 months after our last sunrise, we’ve finally managed to get out to do another. The sunrise being a little later in August 6am, we picked somewhere further afield, so this morning we found ourselves atop Mam Tor.

We steered clear of the over shot gate, and stuck around the ridge near the trig point

using the sheep for foreground interest instead, this, above being my own favourite of the day.

I also took along my new Vehu Muvi HD, what? Yeah, think Go-pro but under half the money, mounted on a Veho VCC-100-XL 360, which is basically a glorified egg timer, but with a tripod mount & feet, and gives some movement to the video for under £20, rather than being utterly static.

Sunrise, and stuck in the grass is probably not the best way to show off it’s qualities, but hopefully will get to play with this some more over the coming weeks. I’ve also picked up a suction mount so can hopefully shoot a few road videos too. The video is two minutes of your life you won’t get back, but if you want to watch it is at the end.
